MAC HAUL (ft. YSL)

It's been so long since I've done a blog post! Just not been into blogging these days, plus NOTD's started to bore me ^^"
However, I have an exciting MAC haul for you guys. Also including a YSL lip product!

Without further ado, let's get started ~

Purchased 6 cosmetic items in total while in Edinburgh, Glasgow + Livingston.

First up, MAC!

MAC Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Powder/Pressed
RRP - £17.50

A silky, colourless finishing powder suitable for all skin tones. Reduces shine while optically minimizing the look of lines and imperfections.

I used this product today + overall, I'm impressed with it. It does its job, gives you a flawless + natural looking face. Will definitely repurchase this when I run out ^^

Strobe Liquid (50ml)
RRP - £21.50

Blending soft focus diffusers with iridescent pigments, this ultra-fluid strobe formula produces soft radiant light on the skin, reducing the appearance of skin imperfections by providing a natural looking glow. Spreads on smoothly and absorbs quickly leaving the skin looking healthier and more radiant.

I am in love with this product! A product which I have been looking for ages. Something to give my face a dewy look without looking sweaty or shiny. I tend to mix my BB cream with this strobe liquid, then apply it onto my face. Definitely gives you a nice healthy looking glow, even after applying a finishing powder ^^
Another thing I like about this product is that there's a lock on the pump which is another nice little addition to this product ~

Pro Longwear Lipcreme (So Very Good)
RRP - £15.50

Lightweight texture, creamy finish and comfortable longwear combine in this has-it-all pro-class lip colour. Slick in use, applies without need of a top coat - and still lasts up to 12 hours. Won't feather of transfer, and the colour stays true. Helps lips stay soft and hydrated.

So Very Good is a mid-tone plum shade with hints of pearl in it to give a bit of shimmer. I don't usually go for shades this dark but I don't mind this shade at all! I'm not sure if it lasts 12 hours but it does last quite long.

Cremesheen Glass (Deelight)
RRP - £16.00

A lip finish that fuses the creamy, sheen-filled nature of Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of M.A.C Lipglass. Soft, comfortable, non-sticky.

Deelight is a mid-tone neutral shade which is great for everyday where. It does feel comfortable after applying it as described in its description. Very happy with this product! ^^

Sheen Supreme Lipstick (Bare Again)
RRP - £13.50

Combining the colour impact of a Lipstick with the shine sheen of a Lipglass, Sheen Supreme creates the perfect hybrid - with no compromise. Lightweight, non-sticky, slick to apply and comfortable to wear.

Bare Again is a pinky neutral beige. It's a really nice neutral for everyday wear. I applied this with Deelight on top and I must say, they both go very well.

Finally, YSL!

Gloss Volupte (No.5 - Sugared Almond)
RRP - £20.50
Purchased at £10.50!

You guys are probably all wondering how I manged to purchase this YSL lip product for only £10.50. Well, theres a store in Livingston called the Luxury Beauty Store which is an outlet filled with luxury brands such as Biotherm, YSL, Dior etc for discounted prices!

I picked up the Gloss Volupte in Sugared Almond which is a nice beigey nude. When applied, it's very sheer but it gives your lips a nice shimmery look. I tried my best to take a photo of the swatch seeing as it was very sheer!

That's all from my cosmetics haul! If you guys want me to do a full review on any of these products, I'll gladly do one. Just post a comment below!

World Duty Free Haul (ft. M.A.C + Tiffany & Co.)

I decided to do some shopping while in London Heathrow airport on my way to Hong Kong. I managed to pick up a few things I had in mind + here they are!

First up, my Tiffany & Co. necklace ^^

The necklace came in beautiful packaging. The necklace was placed into a Tiffany's pouch then placed into a box + finally secured with a white ribbon. They also put the receipt into a Tiffany's envelope!

Return to Tiffany
Mini Double Heart Tag Pendant Necklace
RRP: £66 (airport price)

The pendant was a lot smaller than expected but only because I never realized that the Return to Tiffany pendant was a 'mini' size. The necklace chain length is 16" which is a bit short but I'm not too fussed about it. Overall, I'm really happy with this necklace. My first Tiffany's + hoping for more in the future! ^^

Last but not least, M.A.C ~

L-R: Lip Conditioner SPF 15, Select Moisturecover

I was super excited to visit the M.A.C store in the airport as I live no where that sells M.A.C. I managed to pick up two products.

RRP: £9.35 (airport price)

The scent of this lip conditioner is heavenly! It smells of vanilla + makes my lips feel super soft. Highly recommended for those looking for a lip conditioner! ^^

RRP: £11.45 (airport price)

I've been looking for a concealer with moisture for quite a while now as my face can get dry at times + this concealer was perfect! It applies on well as it is liquid based with a wand brush. I also love the fact that it doesn't go flaky if applied onto dry skin as my face can get dry at times.
Highly recommended!

That's all for now, hoping to buy a few more goodies in Heathrow airport on my way back from Hong Kong! ^^

HAUL: Clothing and Accessories (pic heavy!)

I've been planning to do a haul about my recent purchases quite a while now but I didn't have the time to do it at the time! Had some time to spare today so I decided to snap some photos of my goodies & do a blog post about it =D
All my purchases weren't all purchased in one day, some were a couple of weeks ago, some a couple of days ago ~

Let's start with the clothing items:

Trench/Mac jacket from Zara.
Originally £59.99 but reduced to £29.99
I absolutely love this jacket! Such a bargain, I haven't had the chance to wear it yet but when I do, I'll do an OOTD ^^
The hood is removable which I like as without the hood, it looks more formal whereas with the hood, it looks more casual ~

Floral blouse/shirt from Warehouse.
Originally £20 but reduced to £5
This top was featured in my first OOTD post. When I bought it, it said £7 on the label but at the till it was actually £5! Another great bargain =D

The floral pattern in more detail ~

Chunky knit cardigan from H&M.
£20 - Chocolate coloured
This cardigan is great for the cold season, It's great to dress up & dress down in. Love the fact that its chunky knit as it is super cosy!

Preppy/vintage style Cardigan from Vero Moda.
Originally £30 but reduced to £15
I love the style of this cardigan, I like the fact that there are bows on the top of the pockets! ^^

Lace top from H&M
£12.99
This top is great for Spring/Summer. I love the lace design on it which is what caught my attention first!

Lace design in more detail ~

White top from Hollister
£26
This is just to add to my Hollister collection... I find their style of clothing is really different compared to other shops. They have their own style of clothing which is something that I really like.

Hollister top in more detail ~

Silk blouse/shirt from H&M
£20
I've always wanted a piece of clothing that has that silky feel & this shirt was perfect! It came with the brown woven belt which I love as it matches the blouse & adds the finishing touch towards it. I wasn't too keen on the price at first but I had extra cash so I thought, why not? =D

It has a frilly detail on the front which is something else that I love ~

Navy blue dress from Republic.
Originally £35 but reduced to £10
I was looking for a New Year dress in navy blue & this was perfect! Was such a bargain too, Its above knee length & is perfect for special occasions! (=

Balleria flats from Oasis
Originally £30 but reduced to £15 - Nude coloured
I've seen these flats in store months ago & was planning to buy them but I ended up not buying them as I bought another style instead =P
Was so glad to see them on sale (they were the last ones too!)

Floral design in more detail ~

That's all of my recent purchases! Hope you enjoyed this haul & I hope to do more in the future ^^ Maybe my next haul will be from Hong Kong as I'm going to HK this April! So excited =D
